A short game I made about the feeling of dissociating. This was mainly a proof-of-concept for how I could make player-position-driven environment animations in vanilla Bitsy.

This is really cool, love the effects! It really feels representative of dissociation.
Thanks!
this was really cool! It was a really nice representation of dissociation, i have no idea how you did this in bitsy :)
It's something like 15 different rooms each with four exits blocking your path that redirect you to the next room, so it looks like its animating. I had to write a script to generate the next exit coordinates for me. :)
I really like this! The room affect was really cool, and as a bitsy user, I can tell it took a while! What a cool way to show dissociation. Nice!
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
Good to see you posting another game already so soon :D
For something so short it's actually really cool! I like how the game makes doing 1 simple thing feel like such a big task. It's pretty good story telling.
My only feedback would just be that there should probably be more space between the text and the triangle thing
Good job!!
Thanks! I've got the game-jam bug & I just can't stop! :)
I wanted to make it longer, but the way I did the room expanding & contracting was super time-consuming.
